CU Travel Rewards

Background
One of the largest conglomerations of Credit Unions in the world, CUTravel Rewards provides travel rewards to credit union members using their CU Credit Cards to make daily purchases. Points accumulated from credit card purchases can be used towards gifts or various travel packages depending on the total number of points accrued.

Project Overview
To create the optimal experience for credit union members, Skillfully translated key brand attributes like travel, and rewards into an exciting, easy-to-navigate site with content focused squarely on the needs of the consumer.

Business Need
The travel industry faces both a competitive challenge and changing expectations of consumers online. The site would need to adapt to the growing demands of the brand’s Internet savvy target by providing deeper product information, in a format which reflects key CURewards brand attributes: travel, rewards, quality, and reliability. The site, and the customer’s experience using it, also distinguishes the CURewards brand in a crowded and highly competitive field.

Solution
To establish the roadmap for the design of the new site, the Montrose Travel and CURewards team started with an extensive Strategic Assessment. This process included: industry and competitive benchmarking, customer and target customer research, user experience design and technical architecture. Coupled with a knowledge base drawn from analyzing traffic patterns over time, the team identified core strategies for the new site.

Personal Tasks
